Gaelle Lauret, Worship Leader
Hailing from Reunion Island off the coast of Madagascar, Gaelle's unique
musical and vocal influences reflect the rich tapestry of African rhythms,
Asian and European melodic sensibilities that mingle throughout her island
culture.
At the early age of 9, Gaelle starts singing and playing the piano in church.
With a natural and growing inclination to write songs, she records her very
first project album "Revelation" when she's 17. After a several-year stint
honing her vocal precision at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, Gaelle
relocates to Los Angeles where she performs extensively with the legendary
AndraƩ Crouch, her mentor. Gaelle continues her ongoing training, she
absorbs elements of "American Black Gospel" and they naturally find their
way out in her songs. "I love everything about Gospel music, form and
substance, the authenticity of its sound and message", Gaelle explains,
"It's not just a style but it's about singing your hearts out, giving it
all, because you know what the Lord has done for you and you can't keep
it for yourself" Visit Gaelle's website
